Sometimes the best plan is to have no plans…
…and that’s exactly what we did over the 3-day Memorial Weekend, we made no plans.
We went to bed early and woke up when we felt rested.
We ate what we wanted, where we wanted, and when we wanted.
I went to the gym, met girlfriends to lay out by the pool, did some shopping, and enjoy a Starbucks or two. Ryan skated.
We went for family walks.
All in all, it was exactly what I wanted and needed. A weekend of no to-do’s, no obligations, and lots of whatever we wanna do’s!
I hope y’all had a wonderful Memorial Day and 3-day weekend! A big thank you to all of those who have served our country, thank you for all of your continued hard work!
Daily Memorable Moments
May 27: For the second time, Ryan and I met with the priest that will be officiating our wedding. We discussed some of the “strengths” and “areas for growth” in our relationship- it was quite comical and not very surprising, we agreed on most subjects! I already am well aware that I am the spender in the relationship 😛
May 28: A day spent with friends + sitting by the pool + shopping + seeing Men in Black 3 = a good day!
Question: What did you do over the 3-day weekend?
Question: Have you seen MIB 3? I thought it was good! Embarrassingly, I couldn’t help but start to dance when Pitbull’s “Back in Time” song came on during the credits and the older gentleman sitting next to me told me to save the dancing for later, ha!
