Looking back on last week, I wasn’t very successful at accomplishing my goals. I could blame it on having a busy schedule, a sick puppy, or our weekend getaway to NYC, but I know the real reason is simply that I didn’t put forth the effort…

I feel a little defeated and frustrated but last week is over and there are many more weeks left in 2012 for me to relish in success! Since last week was nothing to boast or brag about and this post is 3 days late, I’m keeping it short, one-word answers…
1. Listen to my body.
-Attend at least 1 fitness class a week. Nope.
-Take time to rest when I am exhausted or sick. Nope.
-Don’t sweat the small stuff. Nope.
2. Save money.
-Clip coupons. Nope.
-Wait and shop sales. Yup!
-Buy what I need, not what I want. Yup!
3. Train Charlie.
-To lay down. Ehhh.
-To lay in his bed. Ehhh.
-To immediately eat his food when he is fed. Nope.
Last Week’s Goals
-To create a banner for LAB! Nope.
-To organize our home office. Nope.
-To go to the gym Tuesday and Wednesday morning before work. Nope. I did go to the gym, but it was after work.
-To bake a casserole, a quiche, or at least 1 new dish. Nope.
-To thoroughly enjoy a weekend getaway with Ryan to NYC! Yup! We had an absolute blast and can’t wait to go back!
This Week’s Goals
Considering I didn’t have very much luck with last week’s goals, I think I’d like a second chance… This week I WILL:
-Create a banner for LAB!
-Organize our home office.
-Bake a casserole, a quiche, or at least 1 new dish.

2. LAB is now using Twitter… LAB has been tweeting like a twittering twat for the past few days!
3. LAB is now using Formspring… You ask and I’ll answer [two rules: be nice and keep it clean]!

5. LAB was accepted into the HealthBlogger Network!
Daily Memorable Moments
January 14: It was a day full of love, laughter, chocolate, and flowers! Ryan and I had our big Valentine’s Day celebration over the weekend in NYC, so yesterday we kept it low-key… We exchanged gifts [flowers for her, a movie for him] and saw “The Vow”!
January 15: Cuddling on the couch with Charlie after a stressful day…
